BODY STYLE
STYLING
- The
Wildcat could be described as extrovert and purposeful in its appearance,
far more so than any of the other 4WD production vehicles available to date.
All the curves and scoops within the body are placed for beneficial purpose.
The entire external body of the Wildcat is G.R.P. Composite . This material
has many benefits, its strong, light weight, flexible and has good anti corrosion
properties.
A minor bump on a G.R.P. panel will usually fair better than on a steel or
aluminum counterpart.
SIDE
SCOOPS - Designed to draw air from the body to cool the dampers,
giving optimum performance in the extreme temperature of competition.
BONNET SCOOP - Designed to draw cold
air from the wing to cool the front dampers and add extra cooling for the
front mounted engine.
SIDE VENTS - Cut into both the wings and the door these act as
exit points for the excess hot air created by the dampers and more importantly
the engine.
( If an engine is a few degrees in temperature over its optimum running
temperature its BHP performance can be dramatically reduced)
ROOF SCOOP - Available on the Wildcat Signature this has been
designed to draw the updrafted air from the windscreen, the air is accelerated
over the roof to internally sculpted cowling which is then forced directly
onto the rear mounted radiator.
LIGHTS - The rear lights are place high up the body for maximum visability
for road or race.
ACCESS
- The Wildcat has been designed for maximum
access to the engine, coolers and dampers by having the wing tops incorporated
into the bonnet . The rear of the vehicle can be completely lifted to gain
access to spares, dampers and fuel cell or engine depending on the model.
